OneWorld Food Ingredients Inc., founded in 1984 by Mr. Sze Wai Pang, is a leading industry producer of food ingredients, specializing in caramel colors, soy extracts, vinegar, bouillon cubes, and customized food solutions.

Company Timeline

  • OneWorld Food Ingredients Inc. was founded by Mr. Sze Wai Pang in 1984 under the original name of MCT Food Products. The company’s journey began with the production of soy sauce, operating from a modest 100m² facility. Early on, the company acquired advanced fermentation technology, which enabled it to expand its operations to include the production and canning of salted black beans. This marked the start of OneWorld Food Ingredients Inc.’s commitment to quality, innovation, and growth in the food industry.

  • It ventured into the production and bottling of vinegar, further diversifying its product offerings, and solidifying its position in the food industry.

  • As part of its growth, the company also acquired technology to produce caramel color, strengthening its portfolio and ability to serve a wider range of food and beverage industries.

  • As the company continued to grow, it moved to a larger plant site, expanding its production area to 5,000m² to meet the increasing demand for its products and support its continuous expansion.

  • OneWorld Food Ingredients Inc. invested in automated machines imported directly from the United States to meet the growing demands of our customers. This strategic move enables us to improve product quality and increase our production speed.

  • We acquired technology for producing acid hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP). This acquisition allows us to produce high-quality HVP efficiently, enriching our product line with a sustainable and versatile ingredient that meets the evolving needs of our customers.

  • In year 2000, we are able to built a second plant to facilitate toll packing of soy sauce and vinegar. This expansion allows us to increase efficiency and better serve our clients with specialized packaging services.

  • OneWorld Food Ingredients Inc. acquired advanced technology to produce vinegar. The establishment was specialized in producing 10% vinegar which allowed us to deliver high quality vinegar that meet both industry standards and consumer expectations.

  • To expand our product offerings, we acquired advanced bouillon cube-making technology. This new addition allows us to produce high-quality bouillon cubes and offering customers even more versatile ingredients for various culinary applications.

  • In line with our commitment to continuous growth and expansion, we have also built a new facility designed to house bouillon cube production, dry blending of mixes, as well as both dry and liquid filling lines. This facility also includes a dedicated packing line for a wide range of products, including powdered seasonings, sauces, mixes (both dry and liquid), bakery mixes, soy sauce, vinegar, and powdered beverages.

  • Our plant has been certified with ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, and GMP standards to produce bouillon (chicken and beef) and vinegar, ensuring the highest levels of food safety and quality control. Additionally, several of our products have received HALAL certification, reflecting our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers.

  • OneWorld Food Ingredients Inc. has been re-certified (2nd cycle) for ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, and GMP standards for toll manufacturing of chicken and beef bouillon cubes, as well as vinegar production. This re-certification underscores our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest levels of food safety and quality control.

  • At year 2012, we are proud to announce we have been awarded HALAL certification, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards for quality. With these certifications and our expanded production capabilities, we remain dedicated in providing top-tier ingredients and services to our customers.

  • To better serve our expanding consumer base, we established a new office building and warehouse, designed to improve operational efficiency, and support our growing team. This investment enables us to enhance our services, streamline processes, and respond more effectively to the needs of our clients and partners. With better infrastructure, we are well equipped to continue delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service to meet the demands of our widening market.
